Electronic Door Locks
I have a 91 and the electronic door locks seem to perform poorly, ie only engaging half-way when I hit the lock button. Any clues or kits to fix this annoying problem?

Is it both doors? If it is then it's too odd that they would go up at the same time. Does it also do it with the drivers side switch that controls both or just individually. If not then it's probably the actuator. Check for binding. Trying to get some idea. :confused:

I know my driver side lock sticks sometimes. I have to either hold the button or reverse it in and out a couple times. I think I need to lube it up or something. Does this sound similar to your problem?

My driver side lock was slow but worked,passenger side went half way. When i did my window seals i got in there and lubed every joint and connection of the door locks and power windows. Everything works great now!! Good Luck!! :cheers:
