Plug Readers
According to my Hayes manual, there is a plug that looks a lot like mine do in the color picture section on reading plugs.
Mine seem to have a condition called "High Speed Glazing"
Very black around the outsides, and a orange\brown on the center electrode. They say its because of a sudden rise in temperature under heavy acceleration, DUH!!!!! I would think it would get hotter under load! Recommendation is to run a colder plug. I have the AC FR5's right now. Cant seem to find NGK tr55 around here anymore.
Would this condition be caused by or related to my high speed miss which is another post in this tech section?
