86 prospects
I will pick up my first vett sat. 86 coup, red!!!!!, with 18,000 miles. 1. What will I experience in the next 30,000 for potential problems? 2. Power ant. doesnt work. I'm fairly mech, can I change/where do I purchase? :auto:

Hi I just biught a 1986 Vette AND it was in mint cond except tires so I put on A set of tires then the window regulator went bad then the O2 sensor went out and the upper intake sensor then the AC so had it changed to 134A then the headlight motor gears went out so right now I have A nice vette lololol :cheers:

With such low mileage i would definitely change every fluid in the car to synthetic, id change the tires and give the brakes a once over.
But nothing else stands out.
Electrical things like the alternator/battery/sensors might go on you.
