Something snapped
Well, took the vette to the track for the first time after the motor was rebuilt.
And on mine second pass, I broke something in the rear. I think it was a u-joint, hopefully, will examine later. I see people running their vettes on the strip all the time, what can I do to fortified the rear-end...I maybe rambling alittle, but I pretty pissed right now...

Sooner or later everything breaks. If those are the original U-joints I'd say you got good life, sounds like the car is no stranger to the track. I'm sure someone will give you a lead on some HD parts for the rear.

I hope for your sake, it was a u-joint also... and not a pinion
I guess that motor must be hot stuff then right?

This must be my lucky day, snapped two ends of the outter u-joint but I'm going to have to find another half shaft. I guess when I drove off the track, it ate up the end of the shaft while it was moving around...
