For my CE Vert and 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP my wife and I pay a little over $2,000 for full coverage. $1,000 deductible. The company is USAA. If you have been in the Airforce it is a great deal. Homeowners insurance through them too.
:iagree:
USAA is the best (former USAF Security Service). 91 vette, 86 chevy PU (beater with liability only) with $500 deductable = a little over $800 a year. Of course my age (51) and a clean driving record (thats my story and I'm sticking with it) helps with the premium.
I went to grudy web page and for my 93 they quoted me 240 a year. I havent called them yet seems to good to be true. That includes comp and collision plus 15000 agreed value. I also live in nj.
Every six months I get into this with my insurance people. State Farm
I'm 42yo, No tickets, No accidents. $114 reduction for Multicar, $17.40 reduction for Vehicle Safety? $64.00 reduction for accident free. I still pay $595 every six months here in South Carolina for just the Vette. I also have a $250 deductible on both comprehensive and collision.
My agent tells me that this is as good as it gets for my age, location and vehicle. It sucks and I want to move. :auto:
...through a company like Voyager. There are a few restrictions such as mileage as well as keeping a primary driver newer then 15 years old with insurance from a mainline insurance company. My Vette and both Trans Ams are $480 combined. It is a very good deal, but only if it is truly a limited use car. http://www.voyagerinsurance.net/

Re: Insurance!! (sting ry)
I live in Nebraska. Grundy insured my 64 coupe and 87 roadster for $515 per year, including $500,000 liability. Definately has to be used for hobby driving, no daily drivers.

Ya, we can got that type of insurance here in Jersey but you must have a limited use registration that only let you drive 3000 miles per year. The big plus is no inspection or emission testing. I got turned down because they asked for photos of the car but I was stupid and you could see my roll bar. Thats a BIG NO NO and I was rejected. Cost for me would have been $303. per year.
Paying $1000/yr. for full coverage with lowest (100/250) deductibles with Iowa Farm Bureau.....used to be 700, but I had a ticket and an accident and insurance rates are going up like nothing else... :( .. going back down to 800 per year for same coverage next year :)
You might try sneed robinson & gerber in tenn. my 92 with an agreed value 20,000 is 354.00 per year, no mileage limits but they do not want you driving it to work and it has to be garaged.
