Taylor is good. I use MSD Superconductor they only have 40 ohms per foot resistance. I had a new set of Moroso Blue Max on my car and when I switched to the MSD Digital-7 it just blew right through the side of them and I had fire flying everywhere. I installed the Superconductor wires and no problem since.
My new MSD 8.5 mm wire from the ignition coil to the distributor arc'd against the water pump housing at the wire/boot junction. I had to wrap the wire/boot
junction in black electrical tape. That was before any ignition mods too.
I use Jacob's 8.5mm Energy Core with ceramic boots (because my headers kept melting the other brands). They work very well with a potent ignition and 12psi boost.
If you've got a few bucks to spend, Magnecore wires are awesome.

George makes a good point. I solved that problem with header wrap. I have the jet hot coated headers but still a lot of heat. I could drive in 50 degree weather and didn't need the heater on the heat from the headers would heat the cabin also ruin plug wires. The header wrap cures the wire problem makes it much cooler under the hood plus as exhaust cools it expands and don't flow as well so I wraped my exhaust all the way back to the rear axle car is much cooler inside don't know how much it helped on power output but it had to help.
yeah i wrapped mine just a couple days ago and they will be getting installed with the motor shortly! i have heard wrapping makes a big difference on headers?

It makes a big difference in the amount of heat that comes into the car also lower temps at the intake. Some say it will ruin your headers and that may be true on the cheapies but I"m in my fourth year of wrap on my headers and I unwrapped a part of them last winter to see how they looked and they still looked like new. :yesnod:
