Default Throttle body bypass question?

Anyone have any pics on how to do this mod on an L98. I've seen this done on the LT1 cars but not on any L98 cars. Is it done the same way and if i bought the kit for the LT1 will it work on mine? Thanks!!

Don't waste your money on the kit. All you need is to couple the two coolant lines on your throttle body. One's on the driver side, the other on the passenger side. On the pass. side, there'll be another line that's just air. It's the hose closer to the top of the t/b.
Just get a coupler, correct for the size of hose which I can't recall off hand, and 2 hose clamps to seal it up.
It's about a 1.50 worth of parts at a parts store.
The other way, which I did on my '86, is to replace the entire 2 lengths of hoses that go to the throttle body with 1 piece. I like this because it looks cleaner and you're not worried about joining 2 pieces of hose. I was replacing the upper hoses anyway at the time, so it was no big deal.

I agree, don't bother with a kit for the L98.

Get a U-shaped section of heater hose at Auto Zone, cut it so as to bring the heater hose out from under the TPS connector and splice into the heater hose behind and below the A/C compressor.

To finish the job install two large vacuum nipples (from Auto Zone) over the now unused coolant fittings on the TB.
