I changed my brake booster a few days ago on the 92.
When I took off the Master Cylinder, I swear there was a wire loom kind of thing connected to the MC bolt on the engine side. Seems there were a couple wires and a connector.
When I put the MC back on, I couldn't find the wires or connector. They might have fallen down in the engine compartment, but I have looked around and can't locate them. I have had trouble with the battery running down and suspect the wires have gotten burned now.
Can someone verify that there is in fact something connected to that bolt on the MC? What do they go to?
My 92 has a holder for a pair of vacuum hoses that is attached to the stud on the engine side of the MC. The hoses go downwards from the booster toward the bottom of the battery.
The only wires I see in that area are the one (black/yellow) attached to the engine side at the bottom center of the MC and a pair (black, black/orange) attached to the MC fluid reservoir.
Maybe it was vacuum hoses instead of wires. I didn't look that close when I took them off.
I'll be pulling the battery today, so if they go towards the battery maybe I'll find them under there.
