Traction Control
There is a little button on the dash ASR or ARS can't remember right now, it changes the rear from anti slip rear to Posi. Is this considered Traction Control?

ASR is like 1st Gen. traction control. When it's on it selectively applys brakes to keep the wheels spinning at the same speed, retards timing and pulls back on the throttle.
I think later versions, like 95 or 96, also had a lateral G-sensor to determine whether you were actually cornering/spinning or just spinning tires.
