I had heard that the TTA would outrun any C4 up to an LT1. Is that true?

I owned a 1979 Bandit Edition TA and have an 86 stock L98......., most people like the looks of the Vette and it definitely handles better. The TA had a great highway feel and personal top speed of about 156mph for over 60 miles. The Ta never left me stranded, even when the distributor was FULL of water from hurricane that baby started and took me 26 miles to home. Nothing would leave me at a stoplight. The Vette continues to have electronic issues that keep it in the driveway. However, had the TA since it was an infant and just got the Vette last summer. I have not finished by a long shot at going through the Vette, but when I am done hope to have the same reliability (TA didn't have all the computer control). For now I vote on the Vette, because if for no other reason, I've wanted one since I was five when my uncle took me for a ride in his 68 red Stingray and now I have my own. Maybe Vette fever does run in families? And for you TA fanatics, I'm still a silent fan>
