Default Lowering

Being new to this site I hope someone can help me. Wanting to lower my 1984 Coupe I sent to the States ( I am in Australia ) for the lowering wedges to bring the front down. Had them installed and at the same time took the metal shims out. Unfortunately did not get the result anywhere near that I was trying to achieve. Have the back lowering sorted out but need some help with doing the front. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

I know it took a while for the front end of my '96 to settle after I lowered it. It dropped an additional 1/4" or so after a few weeks.

Those wedges will get you only 3/4" at best !!!!!!! Did the installer totally remove the upper rubber mount on the spring? You can get another 1/2" by removing the spring end pads and replacing them with a thin nylon shim or similar. If you can see a big gap between spring and crossmember you may be able to cut those wedges down and gain a little more. Good Luck !!

Be sure to get a good 4 wheel alignment when you finish the front and rear !!!
