adjustable fuel pressure reulator
Really with the regulator you need to ensure a few things. I will try to keep it brief.
WIth your very large injectors, you do not need to keep the pressure up real high. I would set it at about 43-45psi for starters.
The main thing with a regulator is it needs to regulate the pressure on the injectors. In other words it needs to keep a constant pressure on the injectors for them to function properly. With that being said. You need to set your pressure reference to atmospheric (vac line off) to say 44psi. With a vac guage you need to find out what your manifold vac is. If its 15" then you
should see about 10psi drop for every 20" if vac. I your case you will see about 7.5 psi drop in FP when you reconnect the vac line. This ensures and tell you that your regulator is going to keep a constant pressure on the injectors throughout your throttle position. If you see that the guage only drops about 5 psi, then increase your pressure another 2.5 pounds and perform the test over again.
If you do not have enough of a drop on the FP guage as described above you will have serious tuning problems and your car will not function properly.
Hope this all makes sence. But its really a simple concept once you understand it and it make a huge difference.
Talk to you soon. I sent you an IM too.
