The brace that you are referring to is made from formed sheet metal and more or less and acts as a frame rail spacer. The Camber-brace bolts to the upper control arm frame horns to provide maximum leverage to prevent the cross-member from flexing.
After looking again, and checking out the pictures, it looks like you're bolting it to the back side of the upper control arm mounting point. I can see this would help.
I'm trying to decide if I should be buying a camber-brace or cross-brace for under the car. I would like to "firm" the car up a little, especially when the roof panel is out. When the roof is out and I'm on a rough road I can feel quite a bit of chassis flex. What's the best product to reduce the flex?
PS. I don't race, it's just hard to find smooth roads around here thanks to our winters. :)
