Installed my Camber Brace today and wanted to post a word of caution
so others don't run into the problem I did. On trying to wiggle the brace into
position I must have snapped the end off the E.S.T. sensor because after
the brace installation the Vette started real hard and had a service engine
lite on. Checked for the cause and found the broken sensor behind the brace.
Hope this helps others. And yes,the brace was worth it!

RichB, Did not do anything special to install the brace. At first I thoguht
while trying to wiggle the brace in that there is no way it was going to fit
and does, took about 40 minutes to install.
Had the Vette out again last nite and the difference over rough roads
is quite dramatic.
Re: Caution for Camber Brace Installers (JimmyS5600)
Here we go again, another project to do because of this forum  This is the first thing bad I've heard about the CB. I guess I can handle this. I can't believe all the positive comments on the CB. It sure is hard keeping up with you guys. I'm running out of $$$$$$$.

Well Gary, I guess this will be my next upgrade. Lets see, if I take a third mortgage and work two shifts and learn how to say,"do you want large fries with that?" maybe I can afford to keep up.

Just take your time, if you can get someone to help "feed" the Brace across, its easier. It will be worth the effort!!

Strick,
When I started out, I had to learn to say "filler up?, regular or super?, do you need the oil checked today?" But then I might be telling my age.
Well Dave, Thanks for the come back. Just to let you know, my first job was with Smittys Shell on Westport Ave in Norwalk, CT, back when a dollar's worth got you 3.2 gallons. How's that for dating myself?!
I have a 92 LT-1 with the HD Meziere water pump. Any problem with this? Send me the particulars please, and could you send/fax me some instructions so I can see what I'm in for? Thanks man. :chevy
