Air Condition Problem
Thanks for allll who help. We rookies need it, especially when we're dealing with 18 year old vehicles. After assuring myself she was once again street safe, I did a 20 mile checkout cruise to become familiar with her. When I returned home and opened the hood and looked her over, I noticed three air cond. hoses looked as if someone had dripped acid on a section of each. The rubber was very pliable. I had not noticed that before. The inside of the hood looks as if it has been attacked by something (undercoating is bubbled) I see no leaks and find nothing blowing out of the hoses. Any ideas. I would assume the hoses, while still intact are trashed now. What caused this ?? :confused:
