Your right it is the MAF relays. There is a power and a burnoff relay, replace them both. I just did this a month ago on my 86 and that cleared up the code 36 problem. Good Luck! :thumbs:

Price depends on where you get them. I got mine at NAPA and they were about $15 each. I've heard cheaper but I've always had good luck with NAPA so that's where I went.
