window won't go up...

window won't go up...

i am thinking it is the switch or a relay....The motors are a year old and windows go up an down quickly, so i don't think that is the problem. Any thoughts as to a common problem? Also, where is the relay?

On my '88 power goes from the fuse to the switches and directly to the window lift motors.

If the fuse is ok, check the switches.

A few taps to the motor and it works only if the window is not fully down. I am sensing that when the motor stops dut resistance it doesn't have the power toreverse its rotation and bring the window up. Either way the motor is bad and need replacing...thanks for the help.
