I just finished the install of the Hurst Roll control unit on my '96 to help heat up my new DRs.
I documented the install.
Let me know what you think of the installation instructions. I know they would have saved me several hours of looking where to install it, 4 trips back and forth to the parts store because I didn't have the correct parts. http://rcolling.dns2go.com/rollcontrol/index.htm
Looks great, I'm getting ready to install a line lock and I was under the impression I'd need to cut lines, you show how to do it without cutting. I saved your web pages on disc, it's too good to lose.
Nice job! I installed mine under the ECM as well but bolted it to a bracket that I made and bolted that to the mastercylinder. I had to splice the linelock line under the car(less noticable). Did you have a ball flare into the MC? from the picture I couldn't tell. I got my extra lines at the junkyard and just cleaned them up. Good tip on bleeding the brakes. I put all fresh in mine since I was there.
No. There is an aircraft supply place out by the Ontario, CA airport that has become quite the spot for getting parts like this for car restorers/hot rodders.
He said I did not need a bubble flare to go into the MC but I did need the bubble flare connector so that the line that I disconnected from the MC will not leak.
