I've actually touched on this subject before, I'm redoing my headliner for the 2nd time tomarrow, and I'd like to get some tips so I don't have to do it again any time soon. Seems I've heard the pre 90's C4's had the headliner velcoed in the top as the newer ones are glued in. When I redid my headliner the first time I did't want to glue it in because it sucks to remove it, so I used velco. When I went to take the headliner down this time both sides of the velco on some of headliner board just stayed stuck to the top. Some just peeled off the the top and stayed on the liner board. Anyone have any insight on if velco is a good way to do it, or if glue would be better. My thing is if I glue it in every time I have to remove it I loose a layer or two of the board. Now hopefully I won't have to do this that many times, but I just don't want to destroy it.

I have an article from Vette magazine that covers the replacement of the headliner. Don't know if it addresses your particular problem? I can send you a couple of scans of the article if you like. Advise. roman67844@cs.com
