I jsut dropped the motor back in the car last night with a few of the guys and we couldnt figure out how the wire for the coolant temp sensor in the passenger side head stays off the exhaust manifold. It has a metal plan that bolts to the block but the hole in the block at that location is bigger than the hole in the metal plate... can someone please post a pic of this area?? thanks!
Not sure what you mean by "metal plan" ... it's a single wire that goes into the sensor as the rest of the circuit is ground through the block. I'll try to find a pic...
AHhh, i remember what you're talking about. it was loose on my other car. I couldn't figure out where it went either, lol. Lemme go get a picture on the LT4.
thanks! I think there is another metal plate that attaches to the block and then the metal plate attached to the wire bolts up to the plate on the block... at least thats how i hooked it up last night.. seems redundant...
