Problem with delco stero.
I have recently had a problem with my factory Delco tape deck... First some background. The vette is a 1990 coupe and I recently replaced both the altenator and the battery. Before I replaced those two things the radio worked fine. After replacement when ever I turn on the radio the antenna goes up. but the radio doesn't work  It just says CD IN and CA IN plus the time. The clock works fine, I am able to set it and it doesn't reset or anything. I checked the fuse and it was fine (wouldn't think there would be a problem since the thing still sorta works). I tried popping a tape in there and it doesn't play the tape (wont fastforward or rewind) and to eject it I have to turn the radio off (so the antenna goes down). I read the manual that comes with the car and it sorta hinted maybe an anti-theft system was activated (since the radio lost all power with the battery and alternator coming out) and that I have to goto the dealership to fix this. <--- I don't want to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I understand that you checked the fuse, but you should have a fuse for the theft deterrent module, and you may have a fuse for the radio ignition, and radio battery.
Most dealers don't repair radios, so if forum members aren't able to help you solve your problem, chose a reputable radio repair shop in your area. Ask around for recommendations.

I checked the other fuses those are all fine also. Does anyone know where I can get a picture of the wiring scheme for the stero? I don't think anything would have come loose though but I guess that is my next logical step if I can't find a logical reason for it not working :nonod: Thanks for your help so far, any more input is appreciated :yesnod:
If its bose and everything works and no sound it could be amp relay.
As for wiring schematics try this link
