Horsepower to the rear wheels that is. After almost 4 months of waiting I have my engine and tranny back in working order! I'm so stoked!!! :D :D :D I now have a 396ci engine with a 3000 stall heavy duty manual shifting auto tranny. trying to get up to 60 asr kicks on and off 4 different times going though first. I'm just hoping my rear end doesn't die on me now.
I swear life has gotten so much better since I got the car back. I hit a homerun in my softball game, my gal and I had a really good time last night(first time in a while without drama), and I got a GREAT nights sleep. Maybe my Zen has been re-centered now that I've got my car. Things just seem to be getting better and better

Hmm.. Cool. My 396 should be done in about a month. I hope Zen can be around for me too. :-) Maybe the ladies will be coming my way with a new "Stroke-Her" motor installed. haha
I have had my interior apart for almost 9 months now.
It's looked like a half stripped race car/POS for that long. It all started when I had to take almost the entire interior out to change the tranny cable. All the plastic pieces fell apart as I removed the screws, one-by-one. After repairing and/or replacing and refinishing all the dash pieces high-gloss black, refinishing or covering the console side panels, door sill plates, door sill pads, leather upholstery, rear carpets and exstensive rebuilding of the door panels, I will know soon how you are feeling right now. The project is almost complete.
It will be nice to be able to take the top off again and not worry about some cutie mom in an SUV snubbing her nose at me because the interior panels were all missing. If she snubs me because I'm 6'3", 260 pounds, well, that's another story, ha.
