A/C Head Unit....
The LCD screen on my a/c headunit constantly blinks and sometimes goes out as i am driving along. On top of that the plastic screen that covers the LCD, is all scratched up and is difficult to read at times. Would I have the same problem if i purchased a used one? About how much is a new one? Links and Pics would be nice....Thanks guys :cheers:

As far as I know, only rebuilt available for an '88, but the last one I bought had nice face plate. The Last Detail was the best price http://www.tld-corvette.com . If just the temp light is flashing, that indicates a trouble code. Hold the Ext button and press and release Auto. A mode number will appear. Press the warm button until it reads 08. Press the cool button for the codes. They are: 00 - no faults; 01 - air mix valve feedback is open; 02 - outside sensor open; 04 - outside sensor shorted; 08 - inside sensor open; and 16 - inside sensor shorted.
