Relay draining battery
I own a stock 1985 vette which developed this problem overnight. There seems to be a relay or switch which opens and closes even when the car is off and then drains the battery. The sound is loud and actually dims the courtesy lights. Sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car but I have yet to pinpoint the location. Anyone else experience this problem? Thanks

Is your antenna moving?
Kinda sounds like the ribbon in the antenna is broken and the motor is still trying to bring it down...
Pull the fuse for the radio and see if the noise stops...

I have a similar problem with my 92's fuel pump. It stays on after turning the car off. It's drained the battery twice now and I still don't know why it's doing that. Doesn't happen all the time, mostly after I wash the car but not always. I think I may be getting a relay wet or something? But like I said, it doesn't happen all the time.
