Brake ?????? Need help.

Brake ?????? Need help.
With the motor running, I press the brake pedal down 1/2 inch and I hear a air whistleing sound. Maybe vac. leak? Sometimes the brakes feel normal, next time I might need to push harder than normal. Braking assist failing or vac. leak??? Any ideas? I've had this 87 about 4 weeks and it's my first C-4. :banghead:

:iagree: I would bet on failing booster, but definitely checkr the vacuum hose leading to it...might be smart to replace it now...if it is the booster you will want to replace it anyway
I try to put hose clamps on both ends of my booster vacuum line, just to be sure
