I got a SES light twice in the past week, but now it doesn't come on anymore, is the code stored or must the light be on at the time of the scan. Thanks
If you haven't disconnected the battery...it's still in there.
Did the light go out while you were still driving or did it just not come back on the next time you started the car?
In any event the code is stored. Autozone offers to read codes as a service. Give'em a visit.
I'll bet code 32...any takers?
:seeya
And you'll find that code offer depends on the make and model of your Vette. Some stores will be glad to to the old paper clip trick and others will tell you they can only read 94-96 OBD ECM's.
BTW, if it does turn out to be Code 32, you can pretty much ignore it, OR replace the EGR switch if the light bugs you.
Ok thanks for all the great info, I pulled the codes and I got:
C12, H26, H78
I searched the archives and I gathered that c12 isn't really a problem but what about the other two?
