A friend and fellow forum member believes he needs to replace the yoke on his driveshaft. The rear seal on his tranny was leaking pretty bad. We replaced the seal but it is still leaking a little. We were thinking that this would be much like the crankshaft seal and that a new yoke would most likely fix the problem.
He called Jeff Kopp's people and they can't sell just the yoke, they can only sell the whole driveshaft, which costs a pretty penny.
Anybody know where you can get just a replacement yoke? I'm thinking that surely anybody who makes aftermarket driveshafts can get one.
I am pretty sure you can get a Speedi Sleeve from NAPA for the tranny yoke. The sleeve fits over the yoke to cure the leak. The leak occurs due to scoring on the yoke from the worn bushing. The Speedi Sleeve is a thin metal cylinder that is pressed or hammered onto the yoke. Probably run you about $5-10. I installed one on the front of my crank to cure the leak there, even after I put in a new bushing. No more leak now :) . Other than that, try wrecking yards like http://www.contemporarycorvette.com and others for a yoke  .
Mine was leaking so I replaced just the seal and the leak seemed almost worse  I had play between the yoke and bushing so I replaced the bushing and the leak was gone :D
