to lift up the front of the engine, should the trainny be unbolted from the engine?

ok, so if taking all of those parts off comes down to about 16 hours.
Would 20 hours of work be enought to install ported heads or after marked heads, and a new intake manifold.
keeping in mind that the heads have all been preped up and ready for installation.
so hmmmmm 20 hours x 45 = $$ aprox how much it would coast to get this job done by a shop, without counting the money for my parts.
Is this reasonnable?

To do the heads you also have to pull the exhaust manifolds (doesn't talk long). It would probably add an hour or two to the process to get them off, clean/prep the block and reinstall them.
Where do you have a shop working for $45/hour? :eek:

hmmm why? is that much 45$?
