Mine is now, just got back from the chevy parts counter and my new radiator cap is "Made India" I thought mayde it was missing an "na" on the end, but sadly, no. :mad
corporate greed has made products made in the USA pretty much nonexistant :( .. big corparations don't care about any thing but how much profit they make and how much they spend...especially on you..it's very very sad :nonod:
Scary thing is it is goign to be coming down crashing on the US, when people won't be able to afford to buy a loaf of break like in the easter block countries years ago.. I hope not, but since all the larger companies are moving production to india/mexico/china, quality of parts is going down the toilet, and more and more us workers are out of money.
This will mak ethem spend less, default on loans and credit card debt will go through the roof. Credit card companies will go bankrupt left and right as people can't cover their spending. Banks and underwriters will go out of business and people will literally LOSE their money in banks too..
Very scary scenario.. Hopefully something... anything will happen to change it, otherwise it might be time to move to Europe.. :conehead

Thats not bad , When i was in Denmark i bought my mother a minature copy of the mermaid in Copenhagens harbour.
When i gave it to her she quickly pointed out the made in INDIA sticker :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:
They have to cut cost, if you want to pay 50g for a vette, the parts will be made in other countries. If everything was made here that vette would be 100g.
us corps ship mfr overseas because they are forced to compete with imports and foreign companies that use imported parts made where labor is very cheap. or they must compete with the transplant foreign companies that use nonunion labor.
thank the politicians for selling the voters on the shi__y trade agreements. they sold out the mfr base with the idea that we are a service economy and the mfr was best to go overseas.
well now the service jobs, programing, insurance, cust service are being sourced in india, korea, etc.
people need to be vocal about buying us made parts and products. they may cost a little more but if it saves the country from being overwhelmed with unemployment it will be money well spent.
I recall back in the early 90's when Perot was running for pres. He talked big about the giant sucking sound that NAFTA would make with all the jobs going to Mexico.
Funny thing was that his company - EDS - just got awarded an outsourcing contract from the company I work for. EDS layed off hundreds of the outsourced people - and sent the work to India.
IBM and Microsoft are now the biggest employer in India.
All the politicians are B*LL CR*P LIARS!!!! BUNCH OF F*CKIN' C*CK S*CKERS.
And don't even get me started on how these thieves legally stole my pension.
Would have to agree. There are a ton of computer related jobs at my work that are getting shipped to India. It is suppost to be for cost savings but with the time diffrence and how fast they need things done I don't see how it is going to be effective. Something that may take me 30 min and 2 trips from the engineer to do would take 2 days when shipped overseas bare minimum.
