NewBie..
I am looking into getting into programming my C4 then my C5.. What would I need besides a laptop.. What would you recommend? I have been told it is just trial and error.. I figure I have pretty much everybolt on and Just installed the Hot cam might as well get it all to work together..

If you have a 96 C4 and a later model C5 the only option you have to tune your PCM is to get LT1 Edit and LS1 Edit from the Carputing boys.

Its not that hard to do and the key thing is to be careful and make small changes. You could conceivably fry your engine or your A4 transmission with a few key strokes
