I've had my car for 3 years now. it has a 180 degree thermostat in it. When I first got the car it ran at about 180 degrees, but this summer I've noticed that it runs between 195 and 205.
I'd like to get it back down to the 180 degree level. What could be the cause of the drastic increase in engine temp and how can I get it back to lower temperatures?

It could be trash in the radiator, behind the AC condensor!
Theses things are like vacuum cleaners...when I approach leaves in the road I try to count the leaves in front of me and then count the leaves behind me, subtract the difference and i know how many leaves the rad picked up :D
It really is almost that bad, especially if the cooling fans are on when you hit the leaves or other debris. I have had humoungous styrofaom cups in mine
Is this difficult to do? I've read the tech-tip on this site, but I'm not a mechanical person at all, so I don't want to get in over my head, or remove a radiator I can't get back in the car.
