I'm in there with you. I hope such a system exists. It seems to be a compromise between acceptable resonance and WOT roar. I like the Billy Boat set up, but the resonance seems unbearable. I think I'll keep the OEM exhaust intact and swap them out as needed.
My 3" Tri-Flo with RandomTech cats was QUIET except for WOT...... I have since took the resonator off which made resonance louder, but not to the extent where it bothers me at all in anyway or anyone else who has ever ridden in the car, including my girlfriend. When I first got the cat-back, resonance was awful, but it died over time and not because my car suffered any performance issues, it still ran the same. The only good comparison I have to offer is my '97 T/A with a simple 40 series flowmaster and ehco tips............. now THAT exhaust was loud..... tri-flo..... only at WOT, and without the resonator, WOT is grand

For you 95 Auto LT1..best bang for the buck...
Go to a local muffler shop, get your resonator replaced with 2 pieces of 2½" Pipe, also get your mufflers replace with a piece of 2½" pipe. Consider it a job done, and look at the money you saved!
Stock pipe is 2 3/4"

If muff elims are not for you check out the stainless Magnaflows. Have not heard good things about adjustable exhust sytem components.
