Default Part # for relocated IAT sensor?

I want to buy another one of these to relocate my Intake Air Temp sensor to the fornt of the intake. Anyone know if Autozone or someting to that effect sells one of those? I am looking for the plastic ones, not the metal ones that screws into the upper plenum.

thanks..

I'm pretty sure I bought mine from LPE.

I don't see it on their website though. :skep:

The metal one was used in the L98. It was called a MAT. (Manifold Air Temp)
The plastic one was used on the LT1. It is called IAT. (Inlet Air Temp)

Grab one from an LT1.

You do know, relocating the sensor on an L98 doesn't do anything (real), right?

Default Part # for relocated IAT sensor?

Thanks everyone. I'll be picking it up locally by the looks of things. I forgot it was plastic on the LT1's. I knwo it is not a major mod, but it helps a bit due to the colder air it sees entering the intake, and since the superram runs quite cooler than my stop TPI used to, it might be worth a degree of timing advance or two. I've been running mine a bit far down the intake by the ram air scoop, but I'll put it farther up in front of the TB, for a mroe precise temp measurement. I just want a spare one in case I 'F' mine up.

Thanks everyone. :D

Nah I doubt it, but for that all you need is an LT1 IAT sensor (about $15) and the wiring that goes from the connector to the new location.

I just needed a spare IAT sensor. (The plastic one).
