I just got some new Accel's for my car. does anybody have a easy way of removing the old wires? this looks like it's gonna be a PITA. it's really cramped and I have fat hands.
Thanks
Get some spark plug wire pliers at the local parts shop. They'll save you from having to jam your hands down there. For the plugs, remove the front wheels and fenders, and go in from the side with extensions.
will that help me remove the wires if I remove the wheels and fenders? the part I can't get to is under the cap and all. where they run down towards the ground and then pop back out and head to the engine.
You don't need to remove tires to replace the plugs. They will come off, sometimes easier w/pliers. Do them one at a time, so as not to make it confussing.
I'm not sure if you guys know what I'm talking bout. pluge have been CHANGED ALREADY. I am replacing my WIRES now. there being a PITA. I only have 2 done so far. is there anything that can help me do this? This as in changing the wires
I did notice the response about plugs, but mine was about wires. Wires aren't all that tough, if you keep them in order. You can # them & do them one at a time, pull out one old wire & replace w/one new wire. Do this eight times, job done!

YES, DO ONE AT A TIME.
If you cant get your fingers in there, get someone else to do it.
My hands are 9 inches long from wrist to middle finger, and i dont need any damn tools, just DO IT.
Damn, that IS long Vadar! Mine are only 7 1/2 inchs from wrist to middle finger & I am 5' 10". BTW- No comments about hand size = hmm, other body part size, because I am about the same as mentioned above, down below. :) Want to be a **** star when I retire from the Air Force. hehe
My hands are huge also i feel your pain .This is what i did you have to get a pair of mechanics gloves save skin & less blood loss.First remove wires from looms if not they brake start with driver side save the hardest one for last. The NUmber 2 under the a/c is the hardest.Good Luck
:iagree: take them all off....get a phone call.....and bam! have to figure it all over again.
One at a time nice and easy. Since you are only 15 I will only tell you to get a lemonade and kick back. (those are not suds...they are lemons)
lol. I hate lemonade, gimme a coke. I got them done a hour or two after I posted that and it runs fine now. nothing wrong. then i moved on to the starter. I have it removed and am waiting till morning to install the new one. this should be fun  hopefully it wont be too hard. and then my car will fin ally be running in tip top shape! ( I hope ) my next step is to get the lights fixed then finally move on to interior :D
