need custom chip 84
i have recently rebuilt origanal motor. i need to find some one to burn a custom chip for 84 coupe. tourbo city does it in ca. but i was hoping for something on the east coast or in georgia/not very big fan of long distance tunig and do not want to drive to ca. for new chip. any help please?!!!! :flag

I'm in the process of buying the parts for my rebuild, like you I also have an 84. If you don't mind me asking what did you do to your motor, how much of a rebuild did you do?. I plan on getting Edelbrock performer heads 70cc, Compucam 2030, Comp Cam R/R 1.6 3/8" stud, X-Ram w/egr adapter, Double roller timing chain, Bored TB's. I thought I would need a custom chip and have been told maybe not thats why I'm asking about your engine. I have been doing research on many different places to burn a chip, the best place so far is exotic muscle.

Check out this thread on ECM/Programing on The Cross Fire Injection Vault. This is a really great set up some of the guys over there have come up with

every one i have talked to and read tells me i need to have a custom chip burned,as well as aftermarket headers,to maximize my cam and head coice.i would recomend you discuss this with you engine builder or macine shop,thanks for the new lead ,i will look into that.
