Well, with all this talk of racing your Vettes..any advice for the newbie with the STOCK 6 speed convertible. I'm quite used to racing in my automatic Chevelle. Leaving the line wheels up real hard. 1.432 best 60 ft., 10.874 best ET, 119 mph. BUT...I am unsure how I would launch the Vette. I want to go up for Vette/Viper day but don't want to look to much like a rookie! haha. After all I have been racing for close to 8 years now! I see a lot of guys up there "trying" to run their stick Vette and looking silly. Especially Z06 guys running in the high 13's and low 14's. I DON'T want to make my car look THAT bad!!!!

Ya Jose was cool. It's nice to see an excited new corvette owner just itching to start the mods.
I'm dying to pickup the blower but it's going to have to wait some more. My girlfriend and I just bought our first house together - we close on the 23rd. And if the jeweler gets the ring finished tomorrow I'll be engaged by the end of the weekend. :)
