We all know that Hypertech is useless for performance, but are there any programs that work? A friend has "Fastchips" in his Impala, and he loves the way it runs. I was told that "Superchips" will custom build a program using my actual mods as a basis. Any experience with either of the above in our LT1's?
Why not get a really custom tune, and do your own tuning? If you already have a laptop, you can buy the ALDL cable, Tunercat, and Datamaster, cheaper than a one-time mail order tune. Using this method as you add mods, you can upgrade the tune.

:withstupid:
Plus with software like tunercat or LT1EDIT someone with same or similar mods to yours could email you his BIN file which you could uplaod to your ECM... try his tuning, adjust from there... possibilities are endless when you can program it yourself.
I know a lot of people who would be better off by not getting a mail order PCM, get someone local to do it properly. Every car is different no matter how similar.
