I am going to buy the AFS A-Molds for my 1991 coupe. I have the stock sawblades on it now. Can I buy the 17x9.5 for the fronts and buy two bigger tires and mount the 17x11 for the rears? I appreciate any feedback/opinions on doing so. Thanks.
Absolutely, on my GS I have the 9.5's up front wrapped w/ 285/40/17 Michelin Pilots, on the rears I have the 11.5's wrapped w/ 335/35/17 Michelin Pilots. Most may go w/ 315's in the rear (which looks great), but there is NOTHING that looks cooler than having those monter 335's in the back. I have a few friends in the area who have the same set up as myself, but most have also added the GS fender flares----it's totally your call, I would suggest the 335's w/ flares or the 315's w/o flares. Hope this helps.
If I understand.. this is with stock Rim's? wouldn't the tire use unevenly if it was bigger then the stock 275? all the way up to 315 or 335 on the stock Rims?
 I'm honnestly confused

You can go 285's on the 9.5 inch wide stock rims....to go to 315's or 335's you need to go to an 11 inch wide rim on the rear. That's what all the GS's had from the factory.
From what I understand the flares are pretty simple to install, as far as the price you can find them in Mid America, Eckler's, etc. Couldn't tell you a price since I'm away from home for the weekend. I think that its something you may want to consider, the flares simply give you more options w/ tire sizes. Good Luck!
