Guys,, I am trying to replace the rear seal on the tranny,,,, I have taken everything apart that need to be,,,,, I cant for the life of me get the old seal out of the tranny. Is there a trick to it,,, is there an easy way,,,,, are they pressed in there? I am using a long screw driver and I have bent to of them in half..... Please advise Please

Are you refering to the seal that seals the drive line? If so normally there is a lip and it can be tapped out by using a large screwdriver from behind it. Some seals don't have a lip so you have to use a seal remover. They can be found in Schucks, Kragens, or Checkers or AutoZone. Ask for a seal remover and they will know what it is, well most of the time.
It has a long about 12" handle in it, and on the end there are 2 hooks with one longer that the other, you just slip one hook in and pull down, that usually will take the seal out, be carefull not to seat the hook in too deep otherwise it could scare the seal surface of the tranny housing.
