I have a 3" Magnaflow on mine, look for the name "performance peddler" on ebay and even if it's not listed, he can sell you one if you call. Grand total for shipping to TX was 54 bucks!

What size did you use for the X pipe on the 2.75 stock pipes? 2.5 and expand or 3" ?

You might want to take a look at Xpipes from Summit. I forget the brand, but they've got a decent one for approxmately $35. The finish isnt as nice as a Dr. gas, but it works well :).

X pipes from Summit??? I called them a couple of months ago and the guy acted like I was asking for his left leg... Didn't have any such thing, he told me..... At least not for my '95.

BIG-53621 $37

Looks like this: http://www.advancedinduction.com/Mis...ild/X-Pipe.jpg

Not as much to look at, and I think 5 minutes with a grinder/file would be good to clean up the weld internally, but I've got several customers making 500+hp NA that have used them to make their own duals :).

Those won't work on Vettes. See how the edges bend out in an 'S' curve, that wont work. You need staight ends like the Magnaflow pictured above or the Bassanni. The C4 and C5 exhaust pipes near the resonator that you will be replacing are staight and close together. There is not enough room to just weld on additional tubing to straighten out the curves of the cheaper x-pipes.
Trust me, I learned the hard way when I first bought one of those crappy Hedman units. Go with the Magnaflow , B&B,or Bassani. They line right up with the factory exhaust tubing.

I truely hope no one else has ordered one of those low-buck low quality curvey x-pipe junctions.
