Need Help with an Engine Number
Can any one decipher V0811UPJ ? It is on a block with casting number 14093638 from a 90 Blazer. I found V0811 but can't locate the suffix UPJ. Any help is appreciated.

In a recent Tech Section of one of the mags, I saw the URL for a site that has a listing of casting numbers.
Article didn't hold a lot of interest for me at the time so I don't recall the URL but I'll try to find it and post it unless you've got your answer already.

Although 14093638 is suppose to be a 350.

Thanks Blackvet. No wonder I couldn't find the sufix. I went back today to be sure I had it right, I did. I think I will back away from building my own and buy a crate 383. Seems that may be the smartest.
