rear noise ....
In my right rear wheel (Passenger Side) I always had this wistle type of noise like sfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsf ,from when I bought it but it wasn`t that loud so I didn`t do nothing . Now after the vette had been sitting for a while, yesterday I took it out and when I turn left or right I could hear a loud bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise coming from the rear I don`t know from wich side but it is so loud that when your driving it goes stright to your head and I didn`t liked it at all , I was thinking wheel bearings because here where I live the roads are too bumpy and all the cars here suffers from wheel bearings . but the thing is that I can hear this loud noise when I turn left or right , I always heard that rear wheel bearings don`t make noise when you turn so I am a bit confused  what is this noise ????
BTW I searched on the forum archived threds and some of you mentiond that it could be the differential !! I installed a dana 44 and I did change the fluid and I added the limmited slip lube as recomended and I never had a problem after 1 year with this differential so what this could be
Thank you in advance .

I did as you said , I jacked up the rear and grabed the wheels and as you said I started to check for play and there is !!! in both wheels  the passenger side was the worst, I could move it and hear and feel it move in my hands , the driver side wasn`t that bad but I could feel it to move that much as the passenger side did !!!! is that normal or I should start ordering some 88 wheel bearings :banghead:
Just replaces my wheel bearing this weekend, mine was making clicking noises and whistling noises at times. I changed the ujoints first, they were shot, but that didn't fix my problem until I changed rear wheel bearing, now it rides and sounds better. I have 104,000 miles on it now. Someone said that once you hit 100,000 miles to look for the bearings to go out. Guess they were right.
