Had an interesting fix for my courtesy lights today.
The courtesy lights would not turn off when the doors were shut or when the ignition waas turned on. I tried all the "normal" stuff with the door switches, etc. and nothing helped. It turned out the key slot on the the outside of the driver's door was not straight up and down. It was at a 45 degree angle for some reason and the lights stayed on. As soon as it was put back in a straight up position the lights worked as they were supposed to.
It was found and diagnosed by Rick Stark Corvette Repair in Kirkland after a lot of computer "tracing"
Remember to look at the key slot position if it happens to you.
Ever tried Corvettes of Auburn? I found them very courteous and professional. They had several years of corvettes being worked on. Plus a good supply of used parts.
