I am computer stupid!! Have?
I am gonig to start burning my own EPROMS I have WinALDL and WinBin I also have a virgin 87 auto bin (ABTD) from the colllection scorp got started.
I am trying to use WinBin to to screw around with this bin before I start burning just so I know my way around. When it ask me to select a ECU file what does that mean :confused:
Also it there a place where I can find out what all the tables, flags mean
Ex. Acceleration Enrichment factor vs. Change in LV8.
In the Flags section under vatts and tranny type flags there are flags like b7, b6, b5, man-t. :confused:

Have you read the prom burning intro at thirdgen.org?
An .ecu file tells WinBin how to interpret the .bin file. For instance, to look at your 87 .bin, you'll need an .ecu file for 32B code. You have to hunt for .ecu file on the net.
I haven't found a comprehensive list for table definitions; you just have to search archives, absorb posted info, and ask newbie questions. It would be nice if someone had a list though.

Such as 1227165
That should be your ecm number
