Default I stand corrected!!!

There has been a lot of discussion on the ZF6's clutch again... and sometime ago, I read here on the forum that the flywheel had a conical finish.

However, no one else knew that for a fact, or, for that matter, did I have a place to confirm it.

Then I remembered, I would ask Bill & ZF Doc and find out from the master.

He indicated, and I paraphrase "The flywheel and the pressure plate should be as FLAT as possible".

So. I was wrong thinking it had a conical finish... It MUST be flat.

With that cleared... let me eat my humble pie.

Good for you Andy! You should be applauded for caring enough to correct yourself :hurray:

By the way, Humble Pie was a great band :D I was sick when I heard Steve Marriott passed away some time back  Just thought I had to share, that, although it has nothing to do with this subject!

Don't feel too badly. I had to eat some last week and it wasn't so bad; once I got use to the taste.
