RJ, you are not getting the most out of your bottle if you only get 4 runs on a 100 shot. You should easily get 8-10 runs before you run out of juice in the bottle (assuming you are running 13 seconds or faster on the juice).
General pricing of N2O varies by region, but in Dallas you pay anywhere from $2.50/lb to about $3.50/lb.
Initial cost is like $500 for the system and an easy few hours to install it. To fill a 10# bottle cost about $37 here. Here's how it goes. Jetted to 50 shot, 20 seconds per pound. Jetted to 100 shot, 10 seconds per pound. Jetted to 150 shot, 5 seconds per pound...etc. Doesn't seem like a long time but remember it only shoots at WOT so at a 100 shot 90 seconds at WOT is a lot really. Mine lasts a couple easy weekends at 125 shot. Much less if I stand on it longer. I fill my bottle twice a month on average.
Good rule of thumb (at least that I remember): 50hp = 2lbs per minute. So a 100 shot would be 4lbs per minute. In other words you'll get about 2.5 minutes of total "on" time out of a 10lb bottle with a 100 shot.
Unfortunately the nature of nitrous doesn't truly work like that as your power production decreases as bottle pressure decreases. I generally run a 250 shot of nitrous and I can get about 4-5 passes before bottle pressure gets below optimum and can't be raised enough by heat to make up the difference. I typically fill my bottles up when they're down to 5-6 lbs...
