Default Leaking transmission fluid

Last fri i noticed smoke coming from engine bay. The cause of smoke was trans fluid on exhaust pipe. There was also fluid all over the x-brace, torque converter cover and transmission pan. After cleaning it up and driving it there is fluid coming out of the hole at the bottom of converter cover.

This seems like it may be the trans front seal. From what ive read this seems to be a very involved process to replace. I have the x-brace off and now it looks like to get the converter cover off i need to remove starter. Also it says remove starter in the service manual.

After that remove exhaust and transmission and more and more! I dont have a transmission jack and i only have a pair of jackstands, a set of ramps and one floor jack. What other tools am i going to need to do this job? I am almost ready just to let someone else tackle this.

Any comments from anyone who has done this at home would be appreciated.
