i need brakes
i am not satisfied with the brakes of my C4 (13 inch j55 + hawks pads)
what can i do to optimize my brakes?
is intalling c5 brakes a good option?

Long time, no see!
brakes are a loaded question with C4s.
You have a few options:
Grand Sport calipers - They are slightly stiffer than the factory caliper and are painted black with CORVETTE raised in natural aluminum colour.
C5 upgrade - this is for better brakes on the highway. I would NOT do any racing with them, nor would I want to stop from triple digit speeds with them more than a couple of times in a row. They are not perfect.
aftermarket - being that you are in Europe, Brembo may be a viable alternative.
what exactly don't you like?
- if the pedal is mushy, you may need to get a new master cylinder or brake booster....
- if they are not stopping well, there may be a bad caliper, too.
- The pads could have glazed.
