Brake Bleed Sequence for 87?
In the Corvette the front lines are separate from the rear lines so technically it would not matter you did fronts and then rears but for consistency I always bleed
Right Rear
Left Rear
Right Front
Left Front.

If you flush the entire system, you are also flushing ABS
Start at right rear, move to right front, then left rear and left front
I use two big containers (16 oz each ?) Dot 4.
You can "gravity bleed" but that takes a long time or you can get a vacuum pump, around $ 40 or you can have Kathy work the pedal :D

I just double checked the 96 manual and it says
"RR, LR, RF, LF"
I no longer have the '86 manual but I know I bled it in the same order.

Keep in mind all lines first go to the ABS controller behind the driver seat and then to their respective wheels.
In case you do somehow introduce air into the system, the ABS bleed is on the rear of the ABS module, which is in the compartment behind the driver's seat. You have to go from under the car to get to it. But unless you get air in the system, an ABS bleed is not necessary.
I just wanted to point out that the '86-'91 ABS units don't have a factory installed bleeder. (The '92-'94 units and '92-'95 ZR-1 controllers do have a bleeder fitting. The non-ZR-1 '95 & '96 ABS units require a scan tester for bleeding.) The '86-'91 ABS units required a special tool to cycle them (just like at startup) to effectively purge the unit of air.
If, for whatever reason, you introduce air into the ABS system, try this:
1. Bleed the rest of the system until no air is apparent in any caliper.
2. Start the car and drive forward/backward several times to active the ABS system. I use six cycles (three forward/three backward).
3. Re-bleed all calipers. Any air trapped in the ABS should be now in the brake lines leading to the calipers.
Hope this helps! :seeya
I'm headed to Roebling Road next weekend so I guess I'll get a chance to activate it there
As always thanks for the input guys :flag
