VATS?? HELP FAST

When moving the smog tube that goes to the catalytic coverter a small spark between it and the ground of the starter occurred. The battery still shows over 12 volts and even after waiting 10 minutes the car seems to be "locked out"...it will not even attempt to start/crank. Also there seems to be a ticking noise coming from behind the dash somewhere? Anybody have an idea I need to leave to return to school in about an hour! :eek:

Another thing to note is that NONE of the electrical instruments/gauges are coming on when the key is in accessories mode or you attempt to start it!

I think you may have blew a fuse.Check all the fuses first.If theyre good,you may have to check the wires at the starter and the fusible links.

Also check the fusible links that are connected at the starter battery terminal. You may have blown the fusible link down there. That feeds power to everything in the car.
